The Linen Awareness Day was held from 10:00 AM
to 2:00 PM
on a Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in the Earngey Mall. Jeanne
Geoffray, Customer Service Consultant for NTHCL, Heidi Ayala,
Encompass, Robin Holmes, Encompass prepared and
orchestrated the
presented materials. Lynn Dunning and Kim DiSpagna, NTHCL,
participated in the event by enthusiastically working the booth.
Jeanne was the first to explain what Linen Awareness Day
was about.
146 people participated in Linen Awareness
Day. Each
partaker reviewed the linen display and tested their new
knowledge with an “Open Board Quiz.”
Each participant learned the importance of
conserving linen
to save the hospital money.
Eva Granada added her loyal support
throughout the day.
TH HMFW provided all of the creative,
grand prizes – (1)
Lawnmower; (2) Home Depot $100 Gift Cards; and
(10) Lunch Vouchers for the Cafeteria.

The
Linen Awareness Day was held from 11:00 AM to
2:00 PM on Thursday,
March 12th, 2009. Kimberly DiSpagna,
Customer Service
Manager and Janice Lee, Customer Service
Consultant assisted by
preparing and orchestrating the
presentation materials.
Nurse’s and Doctor’s stood in line to learn
valuable
information.
Each
participant took a quiz and prizes were given away each
hour.
Jenean Long, EVS Director provided excellent
support. The
grand prize was given to the participant who had the
highest
score on the dart game.
It was an excellent turn
out with 104 participants!
